For two different assignments, we lived in the great state of Ohio. Now, Ohio brims with tons o’ good stuff like sports, entertainment and green. It also brims with cold, clouds, and long winters. March is a month where spring tries breaking through but winter hangs on tight. By the middle of this month, I was ready to jump in my car, peel out of the driveway, and head South ’til I found some blessed sun and warmth.
On this first full day of spring, I pray it looks and feels like spring at your house. But just in case winter lingers long in your neck of the woods, may this song bring some blue skies to your soul.
Love this song even though living in OH is how you expressed – winter can be pretty drawn out and gray/dark! Looking forward to Easter, even if just in my heart there are blue skies.
‘Tis true, Abbie, but Ohio makes up for it in the fall…so many beautiful colors!
