Where to Get Your (In)Couragement On

A little while ago, I received a yes that surprised the livin’ daylights out of me. Jittery as a jackrabbit but armed with an“Awww, what the heck!” attitude, I turned in a conference sponsorship proposal to the folks of (In)Courage. They were offering eight scholarships to attend the Relevant blogging/writing conference, and lo and behold, I won the “Hope and Encouragement” sponsorship.

Y’all, I can’t tell you how much I unabashedly adore (In)Courage. I could cry just thinking about it. This come-as-you-are online “home for the hearts of women” is the blog of DaySpring, and the writers serve Jesus-inspired encouragement that nourishes you heart and soul. I followed the construction of this beautiful, God-designed beach house since before the foundation was laid, since before the community was born. Something in me knew this place would be a little bit of heaven on earth. And after their first post lit up my screen, my instincts were confirmed. From that moment on, I’ve been an avid participator in this rich community.

So, when the opportunity came for me to travel through northwest Arkansas to visit the birthplace of (In)Courage, I jumped on it like a duck on a June bug. And what I discovered at the home offices of DaySpring absolutely, positively blew me away.
