I move my fork slowly out of my mouth, savoring every bit of my piece of pink frosted, rose-laden birthday cake from Jamie.
I also savor each and every comment here.
Eventually, I drop my fork and grab kleenex because y’all, the (in)courage post’s prayer requests on behalf of our military and their families brought tears. More than once, my husband sat down next to me on the sofa, rubbed my back, and asked,
“Baby, are you okay?”
I’d just wipe my eyes and read several comments out loud.
To be able to pray for those men and women who voluntarily serve – as well as for their precious families – humbles me beyond belief.
They are heroes through and through.

I don’t always write military wife/life themed posts, but I do always write posts geared towards encouraging a woman’s heart by pointing her to the One Who holds her heart.
“He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” ~Colossians 1:17
I pray you leave here tasting the sweet comfort of Christ.
See you tomorrow for out of the blue, friends.

A friend sent me the link to the post with the free ebook on Monday. What a gift! And being introduced to your blog has been such a blessing…I’ve been comforted and encouraged through your words. Thank you! I’m a new military wife and we’re currently stationed in Germany, so things can get lonely and overwhelming. This blog truly is a breath of fresh air!
