Happy Day, Friends! Are you full swing in the fall mood? Many of you have been since August, but not yours truly. My excitement for fall didn’t find its way to me ’til last week, and I blame this on the fact it snowed in May. {So wrong!} But October has swooped in bringing all its delicious color-glory, and I’m happy to enjoy football games and pumpkin scented everything. {Even if my cherry red geraniums are in full bloom and our weather today is summery.}
Know what else I’m enjoyin’ this October? This month’s (in)spired deal. What is it and why is it so stinkin’ special? I’ll give you a hint: It’s an amazing DaySpring product that allows you to speak into a child’s life whether you’re across the room or across the globe. It allows you to share your voice and God’s love in one handy dandy, adorable package. Curious folks click here for more information.
Also, have you heard about those super cool 31 Dayers? With 700ish participants, you can find tailor-made inspiration and encouragement for every cotton pickin’ aspect of your life. Or just about. Some that speak to me include:
31 Days to Change the World {Emily @ Chatting at the Sky}
31 Days of Lovely Limitations {the Nester}
31 Days ~ Inspired for the Holidays {Melissa @ The Inspired Room}
31 Days of Parenting Teens and Tweens {Robin @ Pensieve}
31 Days of Joy {Teri Lynne Underwood}
31 Days ~ What God Wants You to Know {Stacey @ 29 Lincoln Avenue}
31 Days to Smaller Living {Deidra @ Jumping Tandem}
31 Days of Courage {Annie @ Annie Blogs}
If you are following a good 31 Dayer, will you let me know who? And if *YOU* are a 31 Dayer yourself, will you double let me know? I will check out your series pronto!
Happy Monday to you {Happy Fall, y’all!} and may you see evidence of God’s tailor made love for you today and always.

Well aren’t you the sweetest thing to mention me here – in such esteemed company! Thank you friend!
Just a few more days…..till I get to see you. And this year, I want to make sure we sit and talk for reals. Not just standing in the middle of the meeting room.
P.S. If you could find a way to drive to Denver and bring me Beaux Jo’s Pizza I would be indebted to you for life. 🙂
Kristen says
Your topic is beyond brilliant, Stacey. For realz!
And YES…let’s sit and talk! I’ll be huntin’ you down… 🙂
And can you believe I have yet to try Beaux Jo’s? It’s been on our list forevuh, too! I’ll see what I can do for ya! 😉

I’ve been enjoying several of the 31 days blogs, too. You mentioned most of the ones I’m liking, but I am also really liking 31 Days of Love (marriage challenge) at Time-Warp Wife, 31 Days of Things I Battle at Make Me a Mary and 31 Days to Feed Your Soul at Faith Barista. I’m still new to blogging, but I might have to dive into the challenge next year!
Amy@Make me a Mary says
Thank you for the sweet mention, Amy. It’s been so good for me already. I was worried because I simply don’t have any expertise to share, but with the topic I chose I’m seeing the Lord do incredible things in me already.
Kristen, I’m so excited for fall to be here, too! Some of my fave 31-Dayers are “Encouragement for Spouses” @ UPLiftingWordsOnline.com (even though I’m not married) and Triple-BraidedLife.blogspot.com ‘s “Peace-filled Singleness” (because I’m not married), and also “Abiding” @ MyFreshlyBrewedLife.com. Well, and I always enjoy the sisters @ thenester.com and chattingatthesky.com! So many new friends and great blogs to follow! I was hoping you would jump in, too! I love reading your posts and would love some daily “Chasing Blue Skies” warmth and wisdom. 🙂
Kristen says
Amy, thank you for those suggestions. I will check them out ASAP.
Kristen says
Amy @MMAM, Ack! I was *this* close to doing it, but I have several irons in the fire now and was jittery about being able to do it well. Dratz, part of me wonders if I shoulda anyway cuz who isn’t busy?? *But* I really felt the Lord telling me to read and learn this year, so perhaps next year I’ll jump in full force. And I’m checking out YOUR topic in 3, 2, 1…
Melissa says
I am following several wonderful 31 days series and my 31 days to a clean heart is at my blog as well. {{hugs}} sweet friend!
Kristen says
Melissa…I missed yours! Heaven knows my heart could use some spring cleaning in the fall. Great topic.
Teri Lynne Underwood says
Oh my friend, thank you for adding my meager effort to this incredible list! I cannot wait to see you in just a few weeks. My heart needs some good ol’ Okie loving!!
Kristen says
Jumping up and down here! 🙂
Jamie @ Six Bricks High says
Hey girl! I was just popping in to see if you were participating. I was hoping so 🙂 So many participants — lots of good stuff! I almost chickened out of the whole thing, but decided to go for it. I’ll be sure to check out those you mention.
Kristen says
Proud of you, Jamie! I checked out your series and it’s completely awesome.

Read your About page – I recognized those mountains immediately! We lived in those mountains for 4 years, now two daughters live in the Springs. My husband wants to go back, keeping an eye out for jobs in the area. Bet the aspens are beautiful right now. I’m with you, just reading and absorbing the 31ers for this year. Didn’t think I could commit to 31 days . I started with a list of 9 to read, and each day it seems to grow…wonderful women, wonderful inspiring topics, but there’s only so much time. Gotta love Blogsville!
Thanks for your reply to my comment on Emily’s post – it means a lot to me.
Maureen says
Oh – PS, our daughter is doing a 31 day blog at http://firecrkrgrl.blogspot.com/ 31 Fitness Focused Days.
Kristen says
Maureen, your daughter’s series looks amazing! What a talented girl you have. Would *love* to see your whole family here, Maureen!
And yep, the aspens are in all their golden glory now! Beautiful!

Mod Squad (http://modsquadblog.com/) is doing 31 Days of Prayer for your daughter

Thanks for the reference there, Sweetums!
