When my favorite writing buddy (aka @holleygerth) and I were together a couple weeks ago, we started talking about how fun it would be to do a joint book club!⁠💃⁠⁠

🍂While we all can experience change during any given season, it's rather synonymous with this current one when nature reflects so much change as well. That's why now is a good time to go through my devotional #WhenChangeFindsYou together.⁠⁠

When we bought our house in the woods, this room w

When we bought our house in the woods, this room was considered the master bedroom. However, the best way to fit our queen-sized bed in the small room was to shoehorn the headboard into what is now the bookshelf alcove. That still would've been a tight fit, and we'd have had to crawl down towards the bottom of the bed to get out of it.⁠⁠

Could we have still slept in the bed? Yes. But would it have been the best solution? No ma'am. It would've felt like we were fighting with the limitations of the room rather than working with them.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
So we reworked this room into my office and turned another space into the master bedroom. And now, both rooms work much better for my family and me.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
When I talk about change, my goal is to help you shift your perspective of it so that you're not fighting it but acknowledging, accepting, adapting, and abiding through it. I want to help you see it in a new way, a way that helps you think and feel differently about change on the inside so you can live and love differently on the outside. ⁠⁠
⁠⁠
God *is* working through this change and the limitations it brings.⁠⁠
⁠⁠

Have you ever watched a gardener really go after a rose bush? I have, and it often looks like the gardener takes off as much as she leaves.⁠⁠

Rose remnants lay here, there, and everywhere.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
But pruning the roses is the key to more abundant growth. And the same can be said for us too.⁠⁠

The change that prunes today can lead to growth tomorrow--can lead to abundance tomorrow. ⁠⁠
