Standing in the gap for all of those in Florida who stand at the front lines of unknowns and exhaustion. May God protect you and yours, and may His mercy surround your hearts and homes. ⁠

Also, my friend, @kaitlyn_bouch, is from Florida and has family there. Her specific prayer prompts include praying that:⁠
⁠
▫️Winds don't shatter windows so water stays outside of homes and buildings.⁠
▫️Trees don't fall on roofs. ⁠
▫️Sand on the coast stays where it's supposed to stay. ⁠
▫️The ground miraculously becomes like sand so it soaks up water. ⁠
▫️The concrete wall barriers holding the coast don't collapse. ⁠
▫️For gas, water, food, and basic supplies to remain accessible. ⁠
▫️People and property are protected from tornadoes. ⁠
⁠

It could be any number of things:⁠
⁠
•A move to a new location.⁠
•A new job or retirement from a job. ⁠
•The death of a close friend or loved one. ⁠
•A “ghosting” situation where a friend or friend group suddenly stopped communicating. ⁠
•An argument or rift that left lingering loss. ⁠
•The onset of anxiety or depression that makes it harder to reach out. ⁠
•A change in personal health or a loved one’s health. ⁠
•Another big life event, like becoming a parent or children leaving home. ⁠
•Greater investment in social media than real life relationships. ⁠
•A struggle to be vulnerable with others. ⁠

Whatever brought it about, may @reneeswope's prayer help move this message from the screen to your heart: You aren't alone because you're held by the God who sees. ⁠

If I have strong beliefs and keep them to myself, that doesn’t negate those beliefs. In a cost-benefit analysis, I’m simply showing wisdom as to when and where to share them. I know the folks—with whom I agree and disagree—that I can share my opinions with respectfully and productively and those with whom sharing is a waste of my energy and time. I get the final say on when and where I’ll spend my emotional energies. ⁠
