Christmas proves that even though weary hearts travel roads with
cold, dark nights
painful laboring
dreadful conditions
doors slammed in faces
harmful threats
death and loss
there is the promise of
God’s presence like never before
ordinary people privy to extraordinary miracles
fears removed
hopes met
words kept
relationships restored
because with God all things are possible–even in your situation, with your people, for your own heart.
Whatever sorrow, joy, disappointment or excitement your Christmas holds this year, may you know the One who writes stories in stars loves you wildly. May you know His Son, Christ Jesus, came to end your story well.
And may you and I make room for Him to enter in.
Much love, friends, and Merry Christmas to you and yours. I look forward to seeing you again after the New Year. xo

Thanks for the encouraging words! Just what I needed!
Merry Christmas and a Blessed 2016!
Kristen,
My heart is weary this year! So much change with my aging dad. Tough to once again watch a parent slip away with dementia! Blessed to know that Jesus loves me and one day He will come back to take us to our Heavenly Home–the one I long for!
Blessings and Have a great Christmas!!
Happy New Year, my friend. <3
Agree! I so want my story to end beautifully. Pastor’s wife life gave me a swift kick in the pants this year and I’ve been stretched, grown, shaped, refined. I’m looking forward to whats to come and appreciate your encouragement. We are winning with Jesus.
