Thank you so much for taking the time to fill out my survey last month! You certainly shed some light on a few things! The results were so helpful, and your insights provided me with solid direction on where I should write content. Also, your kind encouragement helped inform my heart and mind on why I love writing.
For ten+ years now, I’ve written in this blog space and had a bang-up time doing so. Because of that, I will continue writing in this space and more regularly do so.
For about five+ years now, I’ve written a newsletter that I send out to folks at the end of each month. I love writing in that space, too, because it’s always felt a bit more intimate. However, because I share so much (including book recommends and favorite things), the newsletter gets mighty long. I put a LOT of work into those newsletters, and I’ve wondered more than once how many people read it all the way to the end! I wouldn’t blame someone who didn’t. After all, I don’t read every newsletter I subscribe to to the end.
Not every time, anyway.
So, in an effort to use my writing spaces more effectively and serve you better, things will be shifting a bit here and there. I will still be giving you the same content but formatting it differently. Whatever changes come I promise to still show up for you in all your relational and life changes by giving you the encouragement you need to hear.
Like a farmer who leaves a lone tree in a field to rest his eye on and help him plow straight furrows, I hope my notes offer you a place to rest your heart as you move through the changing seasons of your life. I hope it’s a place for you to meet the Tree of Life as it helps you see your season with more hope and less worry.
Of course, if you no longer wish to receive communication from me, you can simply unsubscribe at the bottom of this email. Go forth in freedom!
Before I sign off here, I have a gift for you ~ a summer instrumental playlist. It’s comprised of mellow + invigorating pieces that can play in the background of whatever you’re doing this season. And if you remember the television commercials of the ’90’s and early 2000’s, this playlist may take you back to the old Country Time Lemonade commercials.
Update: Okay, so I googled the Country Time lemonade commercials of yesteryear, and it turns out my playlist sounds nothing like the music that played in those. BUT it will invoke the same relaxed, easy-breezy mood that those commercials invoked in their day!
Have a marvelous day, darlings! xo
