There are two kinds of people: Those who consider September early fall and those who consider September late summer.⁠

I'm in the latter category, but only because I live in Colorado and because summer is my favorite season. I'd likely sing a different tune if I lived in the South.⁠ Although I did have my first "fall drink," the iced apple crisp cream chai. It was good but awfully sweet, which is saying something for me!⁠
