I’m raising my cuppa to the glorious gifts that June brings—like official summertime that's plumb MAG-I-CAL in Colorado, our reward for fifteen months of winter.⁠

The month of May and early June, while chock-full of many stunning celebratory events, has left me haggard—after a year that left me haggard. Anyone else?

Today, this sparkling, illuminating beauty turned 19, and in ten days she'll graduate high school (on my birthday). So, in case you're wondering, I'm fine, I'm fine. ⁠

Well, Faith is more than fine, ready to get that diploma and skedaddle on down the road to College Station when the time comes. Goodness knows I'll miss her, but knowing how excited she is helps me really be fine too.⁠
