In a season of loneliness? Preorder the devotional Praying Through Loneliness, and take comfort in the vulnerable, personal stories from more than forty women who share their honest experiences of feeling isolated, struggling to find friends, and still finding a meaningful way through.
With the current crisis of loneliness and lack of friendships in today’s culture, this 90-day devotional offers both lived perspective and attainable promise for how to find community and friends, especially within your difficult personal circumstances.
Praying Through Loneliness will let you know that you are:
- Not alone in your sadness, frustration, or sense of rejection
- Not alone when you feel jealous of other women’s friendships
- Not alone in the pain of a friendship breakup
- Not alone in your exhaustion from trying to make friends
- Not alone in your need to know that the Lord sees you in your loneliness, has a purpose for you during it, and won’t abandon you as you walk through it
Spend the next 90 days with come-alongside friends and the God who has said from the beginning that it is not good for us to be alone.

Meet Kristen
Kristen Strong, whose authored books include Girl Meets Change and When Change Finds You, also compiled the 90-day devotional, Praying Through Loneliness. She writes as the friend wanting to help you be the friend you want to have. She loves sharing laughs, long talks, and meaningful stories with family and friends while holding a cup of strong black tea. She and her US Air Force veteran husband, David, have three beloved adult children. Together this military family zigzagged across the country (and one ocean) several times before settling in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
